School Bluesss

Picked up my program & metro card today. I'm not very fond of my new schedule but I guess it could be worse. I've actually found people that are in my classes. All except for College Now Web Design & Art Appreciation which I'm pretty sure will be with a pool of lost & confused freshmen asking me questions about teacher & life -.-' -sigh- it shouldn't be that bad though. I've wanted to befriend some cool freshmen. Shouldn't be that bad....right. I looked up some of my teachers. They don't seem that bad...hopefully. I'll survive. I went to Applebees with Angela, Jessie, Kristine & Alex. It was good but once again it gave me a stomach ache afterwards >.< I accidentally spilled the water towards Alex so the guy decided not to sing Happy Birthday to me. Then we crashed at Alex's house for a little while & then crashed at Kristine's house, went home & talked on the phone with Kristine to calm her down a bit after having a rough night.

Last day today. I almost cried. Tiffany wanted to watch "She's The Man" since we were watching the end of it and she really liked it, so we watched it again. Yeah, it was pretty boring but there was a certain someone in that movie I didn't mind watching over and over again ;] We had food =] & I think i got really fat from it. Small party for us: me, Navneet, and Ashley. That bitch tried to get in but she pissed me off too much this summer to even get anything >=[. But I still have to go back on....Thursday maybe. I have to find out how many hours I've done this summer =]. I might do it again next year but I want a paying job. Sigh* I have to go back to school tomorrow to pick up my program card >.< I really don't wanna go. I'm not feeling well right now. I think its because of moms chicken. Rawr! I never liked eating her food. On the plus side, I should be going to the aquarium Saturday. See the pretty fishies & then maybe walk next door to Coney Island? xD I need to take my stupid medicine >.< My cough is STILL not better >=[

Final parties =D

So today was the official last day of the summer reading thing at the library. Final parties today. Small group of kids at the library coming in for the food, for once. We even had to pressure the parents to take a plate or else there would be a lot left over. That annoying Spanish girl didn't come back, thank god & neither did that lady. I better not see them tomorrow. That'll totally ruin my last day there. After the kids party, I redid the "New Books" sign. It looks a lot better than the other one but I'm not sure how Ashleys sea shells are gonna hold. I taped a couple of them down but they look like they're gonna fall soon. After that I helped Poonam put away the books. There were SO MANY. It was insane. I guess all the kids brought back all the books since summer is over. The shelves are all filled & there were 2 carts. I guess more withdrawls? After that we helped Margarita set up for her YA program. We set up like 15 plates, had 2 boxes of pizza & then only 4 kids came >.< Eventually more kids came but when we saw they 4 we're like o.O but we were all happy cuz since we had all that food, I was fed =D. We turned on Mission Impossible 3 at first but it was sooo boring. Then we switched it to Hot Chick but the VHS tape was ruined, so we settled for Shes The Man. No one believed me when I say it was a HILARIOUS movie, but everyone liked it. Apparently, all the leftover food is for a little party for us volunteers & workers tomorrow =] Once again, I'm fed. Wow, I didn't have to buy food ALL week. I still want those aquarium tickets >.< But I got a lot of junk for people from the library lol. Who would've thought. It was pretty hilarious with Ryan. Mr. Dai tricked him into actually thinking he wasn't hiring because of renovations & then Ryan heard him offering Navneet a job. He got soo pissed off. lol. I told him Mr. Dai didn't like him xP

Party #4 was completed today. Last party tomorrow & after Thursday, I'M FREE!!! I wonder how many hours I did. Obviously more than everyone else.
Yesterday was a pretty good day too. Ashley & I went to Chinatown, swung by Little Italy & then met up with her friend. We went to Target to go shopping for Ashley's dorm. It was pretty fun. Just carrying everything at the end I could deal without. I was still a little sick, but well enough to have a good day NOT at the library. Poor Ryan was by himself but who cares. He did nothing anyways, as always.
Today we had a little surprise. Javed dropped by. He had to make up another time sheet. Or something like that. He helped us prepare some food for the million brats that came, obviously took some for himself. That spanish girl came AGAIN. This will be like the 3rd time shes eating. Except this time she thinks shes slick. She knows we're not giving her any more food so she had a little boy come and get one for her and her stupid fat ass. Kessler says "we don't have a rule for how many times they get to come" but guess what? THATS THE REASON YOU HAVE NO MORE money! She definately knows how to spend money but doesn't know how to save. She needs a louder voice, get a backbone & GET RID OF THAT STUPID BIRD! Finish making my new sign & now she expects to re-make a whole bunch of them. Yeah, no. I don't have the time & patience for that. Isn't the library going to be renovated soon anyways? She can always have people redo it again next year. I noticed some people decided to copy my writing & tried to make my sign. Kessler even said she was gunna finish it. Yeah, we found some bits of it. NOT pretty at all. Atleast they have me there =]. Though Elle is definately missed! I gotta plan for Friday. mmm...I think I'll stick to Applebees at QCM. Maybe I can meet up with Ashley one last time before she goes. If Kristine gets me balloons I'll be extremely unhappy. I hope Kessler will give me those aquarium tickets. I really want to go for my birthday. Or atleast before school starts. It'll make me happy. Junior year is starting >.<

I wake up this morning & my nose isn't running like it was yesterday =]. I'm slowly getting better. I hope I recover completely by tomorrow so I can go to Chinatown with Ashley. It's probably going to be chaos there considering the fact that only Ryan is gonna be there & we all know he doesn't do shyt. Ehh who cares. I guess we're roaming Manhattan tomorrow while we're at it. Hungry Hungry. I need to find something for me to eat =D

Wednesday a clown came. He was weird & actually pretty funny in a way that he wasn't doing stupid stuff, but in a way he was kinda doing stand up comedy. He had to do some stupid stuff because of all of the kids. Some of which included balloons. Luckily, the library got to keep them a.k.a. its for us xD. There were over 100 people there. The raffle was crazy!!! Too many people >.< too much chaos.
Thursday & Friday were the stupid partys. Luckily for me, I don't have to bring any money for lunch. I can eat the leftovers. People that don't normally come, came for free food. That fcking annoying Spanish lady was there to piss us all off. She came in for the morning AND afternoon party. She took food in the morning & came back in the afternoon & sent her kids to get food for her fat ass. Then Mr. Dai kicked her out xD it was funny.

Omgosh. Last Friday I was extremely crushed. So sad. At least Hua Jing was also there. I felt a little better. I lied to Kessler and said that she was my little cousin from Hong Kong. Everyone actually believed me xD. Controversy over McDonalds coupons was the only problem of the day. Took lots of pictures but I won't be sending them or anything until my last day at the library so all the pictures will be together in 1 photo album =D
Yesterday was the first Monday without them =[ I didn't really do much. I had to write up those stupid certificates >=[ Killing trees man. Seriously. Cuz I hear that 1/2 those kids won't even come. W/e. That Spanish lady there really pisses me off. So do her kids. Today we have to paint with them >=[ I don't think its gonna be good at all. Atleast its raining =D. Please tell me no one is coming >.<

Pretty depressing. Tomorrow is Desiree's last day at the library =[ we all saw that coming but I didn't expect it to be Elle & Javed's last day as well. NO! Why the hell is this happening. They're gonna miss that stupid clown & that stupid 4 day party. I need them to be there or else I'm just gonna be stuck there for another 2 weeks with annoying Ryan. Argh! We have to go around like idiots asking for donations for that stupid end of the summer party for the brats that most likely don't even deserve it. It's not gonna be the same. I just hope that these next two weeks won't be hell for me.
Hopefully I get the digi tomorrow so I can take lots of pictures =]. We still gotta kill that bird!

Yesterday was my first full day off the computer in a really long time. I was gonna make today my second, but obviously I don't have the will power to do so =P.
Yesterday I was sick silly. Somehow I caught a cold & I was sneezing all day. Kessler kicked me out of the meeting room & then eventually I went home when Ms. White found more work for me to do xP. I got to use a typewriter for the first time in my life *gasp* lol. We're too advanced for that stuff but it was fun. I hope I get to type up those call numbers again.
Today Ashley & I made clay =]. I can't seem to get the blue coloring off my hands so I have no idea how that things is gonna work out tomorrow. We're also doing this forensics thing tomorrow. I still don't know what we're gonna do about that either but I think we have time to plan it out. I'm pretty sure Elle is gonna be there tomorrow. Navneet too hopefully so Desiree & I don't have to like stand there & freak out cuz we don't have anything planned. Tomorrow will be interesting. Desiree is leaving on Friday =[

oh emm gee

It has been almost a week & I'm still not liking the HSM2 Soundtrack. It comes out tomorrow but of course U already downloaded it when it leaked =D. the only songs i really like from it are Gotta Go My Own Way, All For One, I Don't Dance, What Time Is It, and You Are The Music In Me [original]. Though the people that had uploaded the album really like this one, I like the first one better. Some of the songs sounded...better.
On the other hand, we all agree that Kessler is insane to the max x2. First that stupid thing with her bird & today we're ONLY allowed to watch G rated movies, not allowed to have popcorn because we might choke on it and according to Poonam, not allowed to drink soda, ONLY lemonade. Weirdo. Like 2 weeks and I'm out of there...kinda. I might be going back whenever I have time. Then again, they're closing for renovations so I don't really know how thats gonna work out.
I lacked sleep last night. It was because of the heat. It wasn't really that hot, but in my room, and the whole second floor, it was really hot & humid. At around 5a.m., I finally fell asleep on the couch, but woke up at around...8. Woke up again at 10 and went through life like usual. -.- I need a real vacation. Sometime before school starts.

Today was a good day. I got to see Irene for the first time in like...a month & 1/2. I haven't seen her since we took the chemistry regents. It was nice to see someone I actually wanted to see from school.
I worked at the library for 3 hours today. There generally wasn't anything to do but whatever. I wasn't really able to just sit there & do nothing, but in the end, Kessler came & I was forced to move books from one shelf to another. On the plus side, I got one of those new library cards =D. I don't see the point of me getting a new one. I never use it lol. I got me a 4 digit pin number thing that I never had before so that was good. ITS PRETTY.
I met up with Irene at about 1:45. We walked to Forest Hills, had ice cream, sit in Barnes & Noble reading a giant college book, went window shopping, ate at Boston Market. We were bored after that so for the first time, she came to my house =D. Though it took like 45 minutes to get there, we were able to do a lot...kinda. She got the "grand" tour of my house & we sat there watching "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America". Though byt the time we finished that, she really had to get home but instead, we walked to "My Mothers Place" and got ices that I haven't had since freshman year! It tasted good before it got all over my white shirt =[. Irene also hates my neighborhood because we got harassed on our way to th bus stop which took forever to come since it was Saturday. Having the shuttle buses come by weren't that great either since it got our hopes up but it wasn't it. All was well.
Now I gotta get that stupid stain out of my shirt >=[. Then spend the rest of the night watching TV like the lazy ass that I am. It got sooo cold >.<

Insane weather? Absolutely

I was woken up by a thunderstorm this morning, a couple of hours after I finally fell asleep. It sounded like it was 2 feet above us, really LOUD. Though I knew it was raining pretty hard, I did not think it would delay everything from transportation to opening at the library. I would say transportation was expected but by the time I woke up & was out the door, it didn't even look like it had ever rained. It was bright, sunny, hot & HUMID. When I got to the door by the library, there was a sign there that says the library will be opening later than usual. I did not want to walk home. My appetite hasn't been normal so I was really hungry. Luckily, Desiree had gotten there just a little while before I had, so she got the janitor to open the door for me & the other volunteer Javed. Apparently, only 2 of the librarians got there & NONE of the other librarians were able to get there on time. You can't run the library with just 2- Someone needs to be at the front desk, the back room, 2 at information desk, children's librarian needs to be in the children's section, and someone in charge of computer sign ups. It's pretty crazy. Diana had a hard time today as well. Luckily, I just walk 10 blocks & I get to sit in air conditioning for the day. 8 hours & no lunch break for me today =[. I thought preparing books were too much, DVD's are a bigger pain in the ass, especially when it came down to taking off the security seal at the top. Luckily Navneet stayed an extra hour and was able to help me. Other than that, I made name signs for everybody =]. Lol. Though they weren't too fond with the string I used. They were very itchy.

Something to keep in mind when you're finding a job I guess? Lol. Fun day at the library, though one lady like really pissed me off. Not only does she think that she gets all privileges, but she stole a whole bunch of little "prizes" that are for kids! KIDS. Shes like what, 30? 40? She comes with kids, ok. But that stuff is not for her to steal. Who the hell wants a large pack of erasers & stickers. And then when other kids try to get it, shes like "no, don't take any." Like HELLO. THEY'RE ONLY TAKING THEM CUZ YOU SET THE FREAKIN EXAMPLE!
Rawrs. Other than that, today was a good day =]. I brought in my digital camera & we took pictures with those stupid signs that I made yesterday that said "FREE HUGS". The kids were really sweet but then they got a little bit too excited & ticked me off but thats ok. I got pictures with Elle & Navneet. I'm bringing the camera again on Friday, when most of the other volunteers are there & Ashley isn't doing one of those calendars that pretty much waste paper.

Dragon Boats

I remember the Dragon Boat festival being much much better when I was a kid. No pictures =[ no camera. My dad drags me off the couch & pretty much forces me to go against my will. I always thought that standing next to him was a huge embarrassment so I kept my distance. I spent over an hour on the phone with Kristine. We have plans of our own for prom in like 2 years ;]lol. It's gonna be me, Kristine, Alex, and that stupid mannequin (long story). Standing outside in the heat on an empty stomach wasn't exactly the greatest because by the time I got to Flushing, I felt sick to my stomach. I should have done the dumpling eating contest. I still think that whoever cannot eat at least 10 dumplings in 2 minutes should not have competed. Even I could have done better. First place went to this girl who ate 43 dumplings & also the guy that ate 41. I still think it really was a waste of a day. I noticed that I got really tan on my arms, my face looks darker too. In less than 1 month, I will be turning 16 && I am...a junior. I should start making this summer one to remember. We're having an early birthday celebration for me at the library. I'll know when it is when Elle decides lol. I think the only other person that is coming is HJ, but its ok. I'm not ready to see people from Bayside yet xP.

Exhausted

I can't believe I spent until 2 a.m. last night watching Memoirs of a Geisha. It wasn't even that good -.-' I think it was because of whatsherface's acting. It made today very slow moving.
I decided to go to the library to make up for yesterday since I wasn't feeling too well. Once again, it was me, and only me there T.T but whatever. I spent most of my time sitting at the front desk doing nothing, which was pretty awesome. Mr. Dai offered me a job there for the school year but I can't considering the fact that by the time I get there, it will be closing time. Maybe next year, but not this one. I don't think I will have time at all but its one big step for me. I guess I'm growing up *gasp*. I wish I could take it though, I need money!
Hopefully the heat will go down just a little bit. I'm getting sick & tired of sitting here wasting my life & having to sweat while I do so. I think I'm gonna once again browse through Deviant Art and download some more videos for my Zen (which has like no more room)
& Since when did so many chinese people move to Richmond Hill?? I swear, there were like a whole bunch of them today. It's so weird
